Linguarum Universe does not require article processing charges.
MANUSCRIPTS
Authors are advised to consult this guide before submitting their articles. The submitted manuscript is considered to be an original text, not previously published and not under consideration for publication elsewhere, which guarantees that if the article is accepted for publication, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in any language, without the consent of the editors and publisher.
PLAGIARISM CHECK
Each submitted article is checked for plagiarism and artificial intelligence-generated text with anti-plagiarism software. The purpose of the check is to ensure scientific integrity. By submitting a manuscript, the author acknowledges and accepts that the editors will subject the manuscript to such a check to confirm its originality. The system does not disclose the manuscript's contents, does not share it with anyone, and does not use it for any purpose other than checking.
SUBMISSION
Authors wishing to submit articles for publication in Linguarum Universe may do so via the editorial office's email address [email protected] or electronically via the journal's online submission and tracking system at: https://ojs.linguarumuniverse.eu/index.php/jlu/submission in a Word file for Windows.
REVIEW PROCESS
All publications are pre-screened by the editorial board, and only articles that are relevant to the journal's subject matter and meet its goals and scope are submitted for a double-blind review. This pre-screening checks whether the article is formally and linguistically acceptable and whether it is likely to arouse readers' interest. Other characteristics of the article's structure, methodology, and conclusions are also assessed. Articles rejected in the pre-screening process will not be considered for publication, and authors will be notified within one month of receipt of the article.
If an article passes the pre-screening test, it is sent to two anonymous reviewers invited by the editors, carefully avoiding potential conflicts of interest. To ensure objectivity, a double-blind review procedure is applied, i.e., the author(s) and the reviewers remain unknown to each other. If both reviewers recommend the article for publication, it is accepted. When one review is negative, an arbitrator is called in. The editor-in-chief checks the final version and decides whether it is ready for publication. Unpublished content is treated strictly confidentially.
REVIEW AND PUBLICATION
The independent double-review process follows the steps:
- The received texts are sent to the reviewers without the names and affiliations of the authors.
- The article is sent to two reviewers for evaluation.
- The reviewers evaluate the text and recommend it for publication or rejection; they also suggest that a given text be published after making the appropriate corrections.
- For works that have undergone corrections, the same reviewers are informed about the quality of the edited material.
- The author(s) are sent a written confirmation of acceptance of the publication.
- The review process takes a maximum of three months.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In cases where an editor determines that a substantial error has been made that requires correction, and in all cases where there is cause for concern about issues such as plagiarism, fabricated data, duplication of publication, or failure to disclose a conflict of interest, the editors review and resolve the issue in consultation with the Linguarum Universe team and legal counsel.
Editorial teams are expected to check for plagiarism as a standard part of the peer-review process. The editors of the Linguarum Universe journal are prepared to publish corrections, clarifications, and retractions when necessary. In all cases, Linguarum Universe is committed to maintaining the integrity of the article's scientific version. Anyone who has reason to believe that a particular study published in Linguarum Universe demonstrates research misconduct should bring the matter directly to the attention of the journal's editor(s) by sending an email to: [email protected]
PREPARATION FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION
Abstracts should be in English. Authors whose native language is not English are strongly encouraged to have their articles carefully proofread by a native speaker.
CONTENT
All scientific articles should present new results and demonstrate that the author is familiar with research findings in the field relevant to the given topic.
Book reviews should contain a critical perspective, including the author's own ideas and opinions, and should be aimed at a specific scientific audience. Conference reviews must include the exact date and time of the conference. Reviews do not require an abstract.
PREPARATION OF MANUSCRIPTS
Text format: MS Word
Maximum length: article – 15 standard pages; review – 3 standard pages;
Margins (top, bottom, right, left): 2.54 cm;
Alignment: Justified, with 1.25 cm indentation;
Font: Times New Roman.
Line spacing: Single.
The manuscript must contain:
1. Title: font size: 12 pt, All Caps, Bold.
2. Name and surname of the author(s): font size: 11 pt; All Caps, for the surname(s) institution, e-mail.
3. Title of the article in English: Align Left, All Caps, font size: 10 pt, Bold.
4. Name and surname of the author(s) in English: Align Left, All Caps, font size: 10 pt, Italics.
5. Abstract in English (not required for reviews and testimonials): Justified, font size: 10 pt, volume: from 170 to 250 words.
6. Keywords in English: 7 to 10; font size: 10 pt.
The scientific text should contain the following main components: an introduction, a main body, and a conclusion. Technical parameters: Times New Roman, Single, justified, font size: 11 pt.

In-text examples should be in italics. Language examples and citations listed separately should be left-indented, preceded and followed by a single line space from the main text, and numbered with Arabic numerals in parentheses, in italics, and with the source cited.
BOOK AND JOURNAL ARTICLE TITLE IN THE TEXT should not be translated and should be in italics.
FOOTNOTES should be kept to a minimum. They should be used only in the following two cases: (1) if the author intends to add something to the title and (2) if the author of the article provides his or her own translation of a specific citation.
CORRECTIONS
Online proofreading of the manuscript or corrections by the author(s) must be returned within 48 hours of receipt. Please note that authors are encouraged to carefully proofread their manuscript before submitting it, as late corrections cannot be guaranteed to be incorporated. Rewriting of the manuscript or changing of authorship will not be accepted at the proofreading stage.
SPECIAL ISSUES
Proposals for special issues are welcome and should include the following information:
▪ an attractive title,
▪ a summary of the objectives, relevance to the research and subject matter of the journal (within about two pages),
▪ the name(s) and affiliation(s) of the guest editor(s), as well as the intended title and abstract of their introductory article to the thematic issue;
▪ the names and affiliations of the intended contributors and the title and abstract of their articles.
Articles to be published in special issues also undergo a double-blind review procedure.
COPYRIGHT
The articles (texts) published in the journal are the responsibility of the author; they must be printed for the first time.
The manuscripts published in Linguarum universe by ARCA are licensed under CC BY-ND 4.0
Copyrights are given to the journal by the authors according the CC BY-ND 4.0
The publisher is not responsible for subsequent uses of the texts.
All versions are allowed to be deposited in an institutional or other repository of the author's choice without embargo.
